Incredibly charming and practical item. I'm loving it so far. I did find the assembly a bit tricky, but once I devised a method to elevate the base for even screw placement, the assembly process went smoothly. I was in need of storage that matched another balcony furniture piece, and this addition has enhanced our small space significantly. It's delightful to have an extra seating spot to enjoy our ocean view.

I received this bench on Thursday and assembled it today. The assembly process was straightforward, and I was relieved to find that the screws aligned well. On this initial day of use, I can't comment on its longevity, but it appears to be of nice quality and felt sturdy when I sat on it with my mother. I'm currently using it on my screened-in porch, and it seems suitable for that environment. However, it doesn't appear to be waterproof, so I would be cautious about using it outdoors. The cushions are not attached to the top of the bench, but that doesn't bother me. As mentioned in a previous review, a Velcro strip could easily address that issue. The storage space within the bench is fantastic; it accommodates a lot of my shoes! Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Easy to assemble. If you plan to keep it outside, consider purchasing the cover. I'm going to buy another one. We are using it for a pontoon boat, and the price is reasonable!
