Incredible pool vacuum at an even more incredible price. I've been taking care of our 13k gallon in-ground pool for 20 years now. Must be getting old, but this spring was the first time I was really not looking forward to the maintenance. Started looking around and came across the great reviews of the XtremepowerUS Automatic Pool Cleaner. Sounded a little too good to be true, but for $95 , what the heck. Ordered directly from XtremepowerUS and 2 days later it arrived. And literally 20 minutes later it was in my pool, scooting around vacuuming like crazy. Played around my pool speed settings (I have a variable speed pool motor) and the adjustable spring settings on the vacuum regulator valve and the vacuum has been running absolutely great for almost 3 weeks now. My pool kind of bean shaped so very curvy bottom, so no corners the vacuum might get stuck in. It even climbs and cleans up pretty high on the walls which is great. The only "work" I've had to put in since starting the vacuum has been a few minutes light pool scrubbing around top few feet and on the steps. That's been it. I'm guessing the vacuum is taking care of a good 95% of the cleaning I used to do. No kidding, it's been that fantastic. Oh, it has stopped working twice now. Both times it was because it picked up a small twig from the bottom of the pool and got stuck in the vibrating part in the head of the vacuum. Took 5 minutes to clear the problem and get the vacuum working again. And now I'm aware little sticks like that can cause problems, so I get them out of the pool if I ever see any on the bottom. Lesson learned. I'm sure I'll learn a few other things over the next few months. In the meantime I'll be enjoying waking up each morning to a very clean pool and appreciating no having to scrub and vacuum the entire pool. Fantastic product.

I absolutely adore this pool cleaner, and although I don't usually write reviews, I felt compelled to do so for this purchase. The combination of its price and quality is unbeatable. Having used an expensive Kreepy for 15 years (usually lasting 5 years, but my thrifty approach involved continuous rebuilding with parts from the pool store, totaling around $500), I was initially hesitant about trying the XtremepowerUS priced at $100. However, I am delighted with my decision.

The XtremepowerUS stands out with its bumper features, which proved essential for my rock pool with numerous obstacles. It navigates effortlessly through these challenges. Additionally, when it's time to replace the foot, competitor feet are compatible with the XtremepowerUS. Here's a tip for fellow pool owners: These hop-type cleaners can last for years if you set them to work for an hour each day during your entire pool pump runtime. I run a 2-speed motor for 10 hours a day, with the cleaner hopping around during the first and last half-hour of the high-speed run time. The remaining 9 hours run on low speed, saving energy, reducing wear, and cutting costs. In Southern California, where I live, this 2-speed pump configuration saves me $70 a month in electricity. High speed is only necessary for the jacuzzi and pool cleaning. Even on low speed, the XtremepowerUS continues to clean, albeit at a slower pace.

These cleaners work even better if your pool has a separate adjustable vacuum port, allowing you to dial in the right amount of suction power. Even if you don't, the XtremepowerUS includes an adjustable valve attachment in the box. Whether you're a guy or a gal, I highly recommend getting this cleaner. It's fantastic, and you won't be disappointed.

It's a good surface cleaner for the price, but it struggles with picking up leaves or leaf clusters due to its small "mouth." Initially, it got clogged frequently when encountering leaf clusters. To address this, I now use a large leaf catcher on the bottom of my pool before using the cleaner, and it works well. Keep in mind that it operates randomly, so it may not cover every spot, but you can adjust its direction by winding the cord. I give it 4 stars because of its affordable price, although it may not perform as comprehensively as pricier models.

Ordered this two days ago, and it arrived today via FedEx on 5/1/14. Talk about speedy shipping! It came in an all-white box, packaged nicely and neatly. Assembly took only 7 minutes and was easy, similar to the high-priced Kreepy Krauly. It's cleaning my in-ground pool with no issues, scaling the walls effortlessly. Let's face it, both the expensive and generic Kreepy Krauly are made of plastic. The generic one is just as well-made at a fraction of the price. Very satisfied! And I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars!
